Oktoberfest Recipe: Beef Brats

Ingredients:

Sausage or Bratwurst

Organic Beer

Organic Butter, 3 tablespoons

2 Yellow Onions, sliced

Minced Garlic (to taste)

Spicy Brown Mustard

Hoagie Rolls or Hot Dog Buns

Directions:

1. Start by melting 2 tablespoons butter in large skillet. Once melted, add minced garlic and sliced onions, top with salt and pepper. Sauté for around 5 minutes, until fragrant.

2. Add brats to skillet, nestled among the onions. Top with some swigs Organic beer of your choice (we recommend Eel River), bring to a soft boil. Cook for around 30 minutes, stirring occasionally.

3. Remove from skillet and set aside. Add remaining butter to skillet and add brats again to brown on medium high, 2 to 4 minutes on each side.

4. Serve brats on warm buns and top with grilled onions, a bit of the beer sauce, a spicy brown mustard, and some delicious probiotic sauerkraut. Serve alongside kettle cooked potato chips, dill pickles, and the rest of that Organic beer!
