Ingredients:
- 2 Valencia Oranges, thinly sliced
- 1 Fuji Apple, chopped
- 1 cup Pomegranate Seeds
- 1/4 cup Raw Cane Sugar
- 3 Cinnamon Sticks
- 3 cups Pomegranate Juice
- 1 cup Orange Juice
- 1 Bottle Red Wine
- Sparkling Water (to taste)
Here's how to make this dish:
- Put almost all of your chopped fruit into a large container (leaving some aside for garnish), top with sugar & cinnamon sticks.
- Pour wine, orange juice, and pomegranate juice over mixture. Chill for about 2 hours.
- Serve with sparkling water to taste, garnish with fresh fruit.
Get creative!
Add fresh ginger or sere with ginger ale instead of sparkling water for more of a kick!
Use Coconut Sugar instead of Raw Cane Sugar to lower glycemic level!
Use Granny Smith apples instead of Fuji to add more of a tart taste!
Use more fall flavored roots like clove or star anise to make it more spicy!
