Sweet Potatoes: These delicious veggies are loaded with fiber, which helps reduce blood sugar spikes. They’re also rich in beta carotene, which is converted into vitamin A in you body. Vitamin A is essential for your baby’s development.

Broccoli: This and other green vegetables are great sources of Vitamin C, Vitamin K, calcium, folate, and potassium. These vitamins have been linked to reducing the risk of a low birth weight.

Eggs: All around nutritious and high in protein, fat, vitamins and minerals. Excellent source of choline, which aids in brain development of the baby.

Salmon: Salmon is a cold water fish that is packed with DHA omega-3s, essential to a developing baby. Due to mercury concerns, be sure to only have this about twice a week!
